Hi! This time I will talk about my future job. In my first post I mentioned I'm studying anthropology, social anthropology specifically. This is my third year on the career and in all this time I learned that the laboral field is very diverse, your job will depend on your tastes and interests. I don't visualize me yet on a determined job but I do know some areas I'm interested in. The first is the immigration and racism matter, I like the idea of work in the field of intercultural education contexts because I had a near experience years ago working with kids in a school and I really enjoyed. The second has to do with the environmental issues, it interests me topics like the territorial resistance and the defense of the land. It also calls my attention work in interdisciplinary jobs in archaeological sites and some gender topics like decolonial feminisms.
I would to like to have the experience of work indoors and outdoors, I think it depends the kind of job. Of course I would like to travel in my job, I hope to build my way to make it, maybe working in big archaeological projects or otherwise travel by my way finding my road in somewhere else. I've an uncertain feeling about how real could that be becausause of the money, it's known that anthropologists doesn't get well payed :( but I try to think that this is a future preoccupation for now.
So… talking about traveling, I also would like travel to study, maybe an exchange o to continue my studies, I don't know. And I also expect to work in other latin american country one day.
Thanks for reading!
